HUMAN BY ‘Bloomin’
In honor of this spring season of sunshine and fresh blooms, we asked our participants to give us a glimpse into something or someone who makes them feel alive.
Each participant was asked to include their age & location & brief description of their photo.
The result is pretty neat. See for yourself!
“At sunrise in Cappadocia, Turkey, 100 hot air balloons take off at once. Welcoming the day and giving all the eager riders a new perspective. It was amazing because all at once it is a singular experience and a shared one - connecting people of different countries, languages, and beliefs.” / 29 / Washington, DC
“Some quality time in a coffee shop with a good book always leaves me feeling like I just cheated the system. It’s one of the few moments where I can actually feel time slow down. I feel present, alive.” / 32 / Washington, DC
“I went literal with the blooming. Our family dog Chance enjoyed his super bloom” / 32 (that’s the first time I’ve said I’m 32!) / Redondo Beach, CA
“This is a photo of Good Harbor Beach in early Spring, when the cool weather keeps the masses at bay (no pun intended!). This beach is just a few minutes from our house, and we drive by almost every day to reset, recharge, and take a moment to reflect on all we're grateful for. Somedays, we bring our two pups and go for a long walk, but most days, a 5-minute car view is enough to leave fully inspired, ready to take on the day.” / 32 / Good Harbor Beach, Gloucester, MA
“A literal but also metaphorical take on the word, watching the barren trees in my neighborhood grow nice and full again gives me such life!” / 27 / Seattle, WA
“Hiking in the botanical garden with my daughter, enjoying some sunshine and flowers” / 32 / Berkeley, CA
After a long day, a face mask is so refreshing to just sit with after I have steamed my face / 31 / Hermosa Beach, CA
